THE EPIC ERA OF WHOLE NEW GENERATION OF GAMING CONSOLES HAS BEGUN WITH THE RELEASE OF NEW SONY PS4 AND MICROSOFT XBOX ONE,
SO IF YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT SURE WHETHER TO BUY A PS4 OR AN XBOX ONE THEN BE MY GUEST AND KNOW WHICH ONE IS BETTER ...........
So firstly let's start by looking at the price-
The difference between the prices of ps4 and xbox one is quite a lot.
PS4 is being sold at 399.99$ while XBOX ONE is being sold at 499.99$
Here PS4 has got the upper hand, i mean i would never buy somethng for 500 $ if i am getting the same thing in well, 400$. Yes, who likes to spend extra bucks for something they are getting for less.
Well, now let's talk about the specs of both the consoles,
Let's talk about the GPU-
Sony ps4 has AMD Radeon Graphics Core Next Engine w/ 1152 shaders
Whereas the xbox one has 853 MHz AMD Radeon GPU w/ 768 shaders.
Sony ps4 has an upper hand on the GPU too,
but this cannot be the deciding factor that the ps4 is better than the xbox one,
The ram of both the consoles is same ie: 8GB,
The difference is that xbox one has DDR3 and ps4 has GDDR5, again not such a big deal.
Apart from that both consoles provide cloud storage, remote download, download as you play, account access on multiple consoles, no used game fee,etc.
One important thing about xbox one is that it's region locked.
This means that if you bought your xbox one from US then you will not be able to set it up in any other country . This is very disadvantageous, if we take an example of India and USA,
In the US, the PS4 is being sold at 25,000 INR but here in India it is being sold at 39,999 INR.So if i have a friend or a reative living in US, then he/she can buy a PS4 at 25,000 INR and i can play in India, So this way i am saving my money because PS4 is not region locked, i can buy it from anywhere and play it anywhere.
But i cannot do so with the Xbox One as of now, but the news are saying that Xbox One may not be region locked .
Till now, PS4 has the upper hand .
The deciding factor has to be the games that are being made for the consoles .
Many games are the same for both but some games are being made seperately for the PS4 and Xbox One.
